Pujya Kshullika Shubhmati Mataji Chaturmas in North America

Pujya Kshullikaji Shubhmati Mataji visited San Jose-California, Dallas-Texas, Chicago-Illinois, Phoenix-Arizona, Orlando-Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Boston, New York and New Jersey during her Chaturmas in the USA.
We are grateful and highly obliged to Tapasvi Samrat Acharya Shri 108 Sanmati Sagarji Maharaaj, who gave permission for her to spend Chatumas in the US. The entire Jain community took advantage of her visit. Many of us had an opportunity to interact with her directly and give Aahaar as well. She is the highest rank Sadhvi from the Digamber Tradition who has come to North America.
It was a very special opportunity for some of us that gave Mataji Aahaar (food). As per Digamber Sadvi's vows, Kshullikaji Shubhmati Mataji takes alms only once per day, in a special metal bowl. During Diwali time on October 22, 2006, Kshullikaji Shubhmati Mataji performed the austere ceremony of Kesh Lonch. This historic ceremony was webcast to the entire Jain Diaspora to witness this ancient Jain religious ritual dating back to time immemorial.
